drinkone2 Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 One off the bucket list. I've had this kit in my collection for a long time and finally decided to build it. Pretty much right out of box, just changed the paint scheme on the box art to a Seminole scheme.
signguy2108 Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Looks good, maybe needs a little dirt thrown at, lol Again, great paint job!
dptydawg Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Sharp paint job, Jim. That is a very nice model. Carl
72 Charger Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 That's one rare beast . Its the first time ive ever seen one built. Your did a great job on it too
extmcdriver Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Very nicely done. Hopefully Round 2 will repop this kit as well.

kilrathy10 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 It's just awesome to finally see one of these actually built.....And done with expertise, too.....Man, it's too bad these molds are gone.....I would love to have one of these.....
Tesla Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 What a stunning build! A tip of the hat to you sir.
guitarsam326 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Very nice build. Im a sucker for kw's, especially with semi ole stripes. Id say with the w925 coming back out, chances of seeing the mixer will be great
truckabilly Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Another beauty rolls out. Just ready for a customer. The paint job is sweet.
drinkone2 Posted January 24, 2017 Author Posted January 24, 2017 Looks good, maybe needs a little dirt thrown at, lol Again, great paint job!Thank you all for the positive comments. As some of you mentioned, it needs some sort of weathering but that's not one of my strong suits yet. I'll have to practice a little more before I attempt it. After posting this I noticed I have to do something with the raised rib on the drum that the rollers ride on at least!
drinkone2 Posted January 24, 2017 Author Posted January 24, 2017 Very nicely done. Hopefully Round 2 will repop this kit as well. You never know! Everyone thought that the W925 mold was destroyed to make the T600, and now the Movin' On truck is coming back. I'll buy a case of each of them if they bring this mixer back. FYI, I heard from a reasonably reliable source that the Movin' On kit may have the torsion bar suspension even though the original one came out after AMT changed to the Hendrickson suspension. One can only hope....
Warren D Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 What did you do for the lights on the mixer body? I'm assuming they came in the kit? I have the AITM kit and it doesn't come with the lights. Trying to find a suitable substitute.

Doesn't matter if the rollers are rubber or metal, they would wear the paint off in a rev or two.

Yahshu Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Very nice, I like the paint scheme, the driver must take get pride in his truck to keep it so clean
Warren D Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Most if not all of the mixers in this area are kept very clean. Not sure it was always that way, but outside of a slushy, salty road day, the mixers are usually very clean.
