drinkone2 Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 I built this drom tractor 4 or 5 years ago and just got around to building the trailer this past fall. Started with a T520 torsion bar kit, updated to a mid 70's cab. Trailer is the old Allied van lines trailer with Andrews van lines livery.
extmcdriver Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 I remember this from some time ago. This is an impressive build!
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Very nice!! All of your paint jobs are awesome!
kilrathy10 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 SWEET !!!! You got the trailer built....This looks even more awesome, now.....I really like these old rigs with droms......I've built a couple, as you know.....This one is really good.....Thumbs up......
truckabilly Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Nice, nice, nice....What else is there to say? I just love it. Nice build and nice photos.
signguy2108 Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Another good looking rig! All your trucks are well done and and the paint, stripes, and attention to detail is just amazing.
1959scudetto Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Amazing Jim! This looks SOOOOOOOOOOO good !With a typical 70's paint scheme, that Kenworth looks so real, and the drom box + dropbed van - a perfect couple. One can only imagine this rig thundering down the highways...
Mopar - D Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Excellent build looks like it's ready to go to work.
purepmd Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 When I was 6 years old, the across the street neighbors moved in. I, to this day, remember the Andrews truck that brought their stuff. Although, it was a 'shaker, it was painted in a very similar fashion, had a drom and all. I LOVED that big, shiny, red and white truck. Still one of my favorite color combos. This is no model, it is a time machine. Outstanding technique resulted in such an excellent build. Next stop, memory lane.
