Pete68 Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 nice I like it when our models still look good after all the passing years. Nice job
Old Coyote Posted January 29, 2017 Author Posted January 29, 2017 I was there the year you brought the English Ford. I remember some of the guys were talking about a really cool hot rod in the parking lot so I went out to have a look. When I saw it I recognized it from some build pictures on another forum website. That is one slick ride. Yep, he's nearly six years old and is still a kick to drive
MarkJ Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Wow, John. I did not know you could build 1:1 models too. That's a real beauty. Very impressive.
KENNEDYJR Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 (edited) Looks great! That car is a year older than me and looks a hell of a sight better. Edited October 3, 2017 by KENNEDYJR
DumpyDan Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Well done, cool rod and that Camero is really nice looks like it was just done
Jimfromok Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Thats the car he made Dave Strickler cut the chin spoiler off ofAwesome build

Truck parts Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Great looking build, I wish I had all my old model kits that I had as a kid.
Hammerdown Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 (edited) Hey John your old build looks dead on! Crazy... here's my 44 year old build, 1971 Camaro. Not box stock. Edited February 9, 2018 by Hammerdown
Hmann68 Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 That Camaro has held up well! Very nice on a classic drag car. Love your blue Paint on your ford too! Nice car
10thumbs Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Well sir, that 44 year old model is a beauty for sure. Great thought and care too concerning the storage, obviously very important. I've seen here a couple of your 'back in the day' real drag cars references, and know as well you owned and piloted some great machines. Hence, I'm wondering if you'd perhaps, some time maybe, show us a collection of your owned special street cars throughout the years. That beautiful blue Anglia in the driveway is a dream. Makes me think sir, you've over the years owned several interesting rides. Maybe? Great modeling, as always seen from your side.
comp1839 Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 great looking 1:1 ride, john. hard to believe that it's 6 yrs. old! beautiful.

Good morning Michael , I do have some pictures of my past cars, and I would be proud to post them in the 1:1 section. However, they are not nearly as exotic as the Thames. GoatGuy Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 You did a great job. Wish I had seen him drive it back then.
Dragline Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 OUTSTANDING survivor. This is a kit that sorely needs to be reissued.
El Caballo Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 The Grump Lump is so appropriate for that car.
