Scott Colmer Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Wow. The finished product looks great! I really enjoyed following this one.
Art Laski Posted May 6, 2017 Author Posted May 6, 2017 Wow, thanks for all the comments, guys! I really do appreciate it. Hopefully I can get the finishing touches on soon and get this "Under Glass"!
Lizard Racing Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 I saw your car at GSL. Now everyone can see how great it is. Picture was taken from my phone, so is out of focus a bit. As I remember, Lloyd qualified poorly, but moved up rapidly. A drive gear broke and put him out. The car was a development of the Brabham chassis that first appeared in 1964. For old Indy cars, I heartily recommend Karl Ludvigsen's series Indy Cars of the '40s, '50s, '60s and '70s.
Lunajammer Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 I saw your car at GSL. Now everyone can see how great it is. X2. Your Indy cars from the muscle car era are a delight to see because you execute the crafting of them so well. That goes for your other subjects as well, so I look forward to see what you come up with next.
Randy D Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 Just a superb build of this model my friend!!!! All your extra work really pays off in the finished model. Randy

james460 Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 Nice work on the Ruby Car. To me he was one of those guys when you mentioned Loyd Ruby you thought The indy 500. I love the older Indy stuff. It was a time of innovation. Novi's, roadsters, rear engine cars, side pod cars, turbines man I loved Indy back then. Again the Ruby Mongoose is a blast from the past. Great work.
Daddyfink Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 Hey Art, thanks for bringing down to the club meeting! It is an awesome build!
