Looks like a lot of work, but really made it payoff. Great looking build, nice job on the side moldings and bed rails. Ā

Ford decided not to use the 1958 station wagon tail lights so it was easier to use old Ranchero kit. Roof was wrong so I extended it ( Revell used 4dr front doors.) Wimbelton white and some red that I can not remember.

Trim was Evergreen Styrene. It was a major job scribing the hood open as the 1958 plastic was very think and hard. A brasstube an brass rod became a hood hinge. It took 2 Ranchero kits. The roof needed to be lengthened. You can see where the red and blue kit parts are mated together. Revell inner fender wells were glued to the underneath of the AMT front clip. The wheels are 1970s AMT Street Rods parts from 1964 Impala (1973 issue) Tires are skinny Revell Goodyears painted whitewalls. Fortunately the headlights in the AMT 1958 Ford were not glued in. I did not destroy a mint 1958 Ford Sunliner!
