2016 Chris Buescher Ford Fusion

This is his first win car from Pocono last year. I know it was rain shortened but to be leading at that point of the race was pretty impressive in an underfunded car and being a rookie. I'm sure his future wins will be well deserved if he gets in top notch equipment.  I used the Revell snap kit , Tamiya paint, home made decals, and I did a lot of scratch work to the front end to  make it look more like the real car. I know the pictures are not being shown here anymore but if you click on the link below you can see them directly at photobucket

What/how do you make your Shark Fins? I got a couple NASCAR kits coming up and need to learn how to make those.

David, I usually use evergreen clear sheet styrene but I had packaging material that some small red cups came in and I used it for these shark fins. I guess I need to make templates for the shark fins but they can vary from car to car. Just take the dimensions using a divider right off the model then cut them out and adjust them till they fit. That's what I did. Thanks for the reply.

Very nice Mark.  He is a good driver with a win under his belt. Look at how far Danica has wet with her win. Luck is just as big in as skill in racing.

Thanks, Andy. I really like Chris because he reminds me of the drivers back in the day like Cale, Donnie, Bennie, Bobby, Ricky, and guys like that. The modern drivers are too polished in their look and the way they talk. Chris has a Texas accent and he doesn't try to hide it. And he doesn't look like his second job is being a catalog model.

LOL!  Blame Geoff Bodine for starting the polish in interviews.  If they're all going to be TV personalities when they retire they need the looks
