Beautiful Bonneville. I`m impressed by how you transformed the crude interior into this, perfect.

Fiddling with one myself, but got stalled by an error in my Modelhaus order.

Good luck on the move, hope you get time to wrech on the GP and build more lovely models.

Thanks Tommy!

The nice thing is, the new house has an attached 3 stall garage & another detached 1 1/2 stall in the backyard!

The Grand Prix will finally have it's own place after all of these years! :D

This build is amazing, Steve. Excellent!

Moving is stressful, exciting and fun all at the same time.  I've been packing my shop for the last two weeks also for a move.  Going from El Paso to Phoenix. From hot to hotter.  North Dakota doesn't sound bad when you compare it to the desert.  So much to pack.  And goes by so fast.

I keep trying to reduce my stash, but I keep buying kits.  Habits die hard.

Good luck with the. Ove. Can't wait to start seeing your builds here again.

Just caught up on this one, Wow Steve that paint looks flawless...

Beautiful build

Cheers

Straight from the factory, very nice

Thanks guys!

I'm already getting the "DT's" thinking about the long weeks ahead with no building!

It's going to be tough! :(

Thanks Gary!

I've got a bunch of '60s Pontiacs to finish in the future.

I'm particularly excited to get going on a '66 & a '67 Bonneville as well as a '64 Grand Prix.

But I also have a '60, '62 & '64 Bonneville to do.

Someday I'll squeeze in one of my '65s as well.

Plenty to keep you busy there Steve!. Look forward to seeing the 66 Bonneville especially.

It was my 40th birthday last week and I treated myself to a 64 Grand Prix kit, it's one of my holy grail kits. And what a beautiful car it is.

The '66 should be a fun & easy one.

The kit I have is nearly pristine.

I have the '64 GP already all planned out.

It's going in this direction.

I absolutely love this color!

Beautiful  !!

What colour is that?, it's not one I recognise, not that I'm very knowledgeable about GM paint colours.

It's called "Sunfire Red" & it was available on the Pontiacs & the Buicks under the name of "Coral Mist" in '64.

MCW doesn't carry it without a special order, but there was a very similar color on the '61 Pontiacs & Oldsmobiles called "Dawnfire Mist" that they do carry.

I think I may go with that.

Well, that's just spectacular! The razor-sharp trim and perfect black paint make this one a stunner. Beautiful work.

Good luck with the move :)

I agree. That really looks good. It's great to see such fine work.

Thanks Mike!

That means a lot to me.

It will be nice to possibly have some contact with some local hobbyists.

I don't know a single soul in Rochester that builds & I've lived here for 30 years!

Of course, that may be more my fault than theirs.

Steve there are some guys in Fargo and also in Winnipeg Manitoba( 3 hours drive to meet in Fargo)  sometimes and good dinner and talk models for a few hours makes a guy feel at home..Dennis Ezmerlain,Rod Maskiw and myself don't mind a ride down to shoot the poop..Let me know on the site and I'll try to arrange something...

Steven sorry to hear you are moving but Fargo is a real nice city..Its close to Winnipeg where Rod and Dennis and I come from  (3 hours)  Its got a good hobby shop and fantastic shopping and good restaurants...Its a little colder than the cities but still nice..They didn't have any snow this year  If you like roundy round racing they have a 3/8 mile dirt in West Fargo Fairground and the best 1/3 mile track is about an hour north in Grand Forks..Great racing there every Friday night..After you've moved we'll have to exchange #s and keep in touch..Hope maybe you'll be at NNL North this year too..Good luck and hope you enjoy Fargo..

The way it looks right now, we'll probably be beginning the move sometime in mid May.

We have already signed a contract for a house in the town of Hawley Minnesota, a town of about 2,000 people about half way between Moorhead & Detroit Lakes MN.

Our house went on the market this past Monday, & while it's not yet sold, we had an open house yesterday & our realtor claims that there are offers on the way.

It would be great to sell in less than a week! :)

My last day of work will be May 12th, so the move will likely begin in earnest around that time.

I'm hoping that we will be at least in the new place by the first of June, although I'm sure that it will take a while to get settled.

Not sure how often I'll be in Fargo, as at this time I'm not anticipating having to go back to work, but I'm sure that we will spend a considerable amount of our time there shopping, going out to dinner, etc.

I'm sure that there is a good possibility that we may meet up there at some point.

Wow! I'm a bit late to the party, but this Pontiac looks fantastic! As always with your builds, everything seems to be just right. Flawless paint job and BMF work and sharp details under the hood too. Plus that it's great to see these rare kits being built, not just sitting on collector's shelf. Great Job!
