I had this kit for a while and I was thinking to build it.

Unfortunately the headlight lenses are molded withe the front end. I'm thinking to drill them out and replace with clear lenses.

...Mine will be more simple...

Define "simple" -- Brizio style. One of your previous cars ended up being a fairly simple chicken coop. =)

You got my attention !

Hopeful I will not disappoint you. :)

LOL... I should have used this one as chicken coop... Plenty of room in it... :D

Washed the wheels. I still don't know if is better spend time on the front end, I mean drill the headlight and remove the siren from the grille or use a Monogram front end.

Here the wheels.

You should have just started your own thread. It's nice to compare, unless you post more pics than the original poster.

Wow.  Shoot me at dawn.  Ridiculous.  Thanks, this finalized my decision to get off here.  Absolutely ridiculous!

Shot some primer on the body.

Thank you David! :)  Finally I was able to paint it.

This is a great blank canvas for customizing; rock on!

Thank you Rusty! :)

Here the body painted.

SMMOOOOOOOOOOTH! What is that color? On my monitor, it has a dark eggplant purple cast to it.

Lizz62, thanks for that pic; I have never seen that kit! Inspiring stuff.

The color is a left over from a can. Now I have it in a jar, so I don't know the exact name, I think was Duplicolor Dark Cherry... The picture is not great so is difficult to see it. I will take more picture soon. Thank you Rusty! :)

Got to agree, i've done it before but only ONE pic, as an example/comparison/idea or to point something out.
A whole slew of pics was unecessary and does take away from the reason I clicked this thread to read, I want to see what the OP does with the build, not a page and a half of someone elses.

Does come across as hijacking another thread, one pic and even a clicky link to your build thread and i'd have looked and i'm sure others would or just start a new thread maybe? You'd leave a forum over something like this? It's the internet and everyone has an opinion

Am really liking this build so far - smooth is good (at least for me). That color looks great and can't wait to see a few more shots of it.  Nice interior also - what did you use for the metal trim on the seats?  It looks very real.
