Hi guys,

back with some new built, this time a duet of Buick Riviera, both kits are from AMT, one is an original incomplete kit I've restored, the other one is the last AMT issue, funny to work on two kits similar for the cars but sooooo different in the conception as one is very nice detailed and the other one is "old school" with simple chassis and engine. Still, can't say which one I loved the best, I let you choose !!!! ;)

I had the '69 Riviera kit. I ended up selling it last year because I didn't see myself building it any time soon. Your replica makes me want to get another one.

Very nice. You did your homework and detailed them out correctly. Great work.

While both are nice, I like the '69 best. Probably because I liked the real one I had so much. :D

Very, very nice, both! IMHO Buick got the Riviera EXACTLY right in 1966 and everything they did to it after that only made it worse--only a little in '67, and then progressively worse after that.

IMO the '65 was the best and they went downhill from there.  I'm partial to your '66 but they both look great!  I have both kits and now I want to start one.

Thank you for the nice comments guys !!! I like those big boats, I have a souvenir riding in a 66, it was like it could always accelerate without ending, those engine were incredible, a really fast car ;)
