665@213 Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Hey everyone. I finished this a few months ago, and like the Fairlane, I finally took some pics of it. Power is a DOHC 96 Cobra motor and a 5 speed. Paint is Testors Root Beer and Wet Look clear. Wheels are Casey's resin steel wheels, painted Tamiya Light Sand to match the interior. Bumpers are from the Modelhaus. Man I miss them! All comments welcome!

crazyjim Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Beautiful build with a perfect stance. SHINY too. I think you should interior pics before putting it in the body shell.
espo Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Beautiful build and an outstanding paint finish. I have always enjoyed this model also. I like the style in which you built this.
665@213 Posted July 4, 2017 Author Posted July 4, 2017 Thanks for the kind words everyone. I've been on a steel wheel kick here lately. Lol everybody always asks about the wheels! This coupe has a lot of subtle things done. I'm particularly proud of the engine compartment. The firewall was smoothed and I used thin sheet styrene to cover the original fender aprons. It really cleaned up that part of the car.
Jaguar man 21 Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 Absolutely beautiful !!!! I love the motor choice
Slotto Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 What a beauty! I like how you wedged that big motor inside. Great color!
Jantrix Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 A terrific build. Good color, stance, and super clean. Well done.
