Pete68 Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 Thought I would post some update pics of the White 3000 I've been working on.
BIGTRUCK Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 Thats pretty nice so far, do you have any shots of the interior? I have one also and was going to modify the Dodge L 700 interior.. thanks Ken
Wagoneer81 Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 I like it, a lot! Is that the Jimmy Flintstone cab?
Pete68 Posted July 12, 2017 Author Posted July 12, 2017 Thanks guysyes that's a dodge L700 chassis and it's a jimmy flintstone cab I'll get some pics of the interior I used the dodge l700 with a later dash White change this dash about 3 times I think
Jim B Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Interesting. Now, I know nothing about old White trucks; but I would have thought that the L700 chassis would have been too "light" for a White 3000, and that the Ford C900 chassis would be more appropriate. This seems to work, though.
Pete68 Posted July 12, 2017 Author Posted July 12, 2017 (edited) Jim both trucks are in the same work class they both where light duty delivery type trucks you could order the white 3000 in different weight classes up to a heavy duty diesel type, Edited July 12, 2017 by Pete68
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Looks Great!! I'm not familiar with these cabs either. What kind of engine will it have?
redneckrigger Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 VERY nice work........as you can tell by my avatar, I am partial to these old girls!
Dave Van Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Wondered if the Dodge chassis would work under that cab. That color combo is the same as my daughter in law trucking company trucks.... Restored B-61
