Eric Macleod Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 WOW! What's not to like? Very creative model overall. I'd like to see this one in 1:1 scale.
El Caballo Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Manuel, that is awesome, I really like the FE in that model, really cool.
D. Battista Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Very Nice...! I like it a lot...! Great choices all the way around...!
TarheelRick Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 One fine execution of a early 60's style show rod. Very well developed concept and excellent build skills. Having grown up in that era, this build reminds me of some of the renditions in Rod & Custom, Car Craft, etc. Many thanks for sharing it.
bisc63 Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Funky and fun! This captures the spirit of hot rod customs perfectly; it looks like a cover car for an old issue of "Rod and Custom" magazine!
doggie427 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Beautiful Manuel, and I really love that you didn’t use the wire axle on the front end. It looks much more realistic that way. This model is a wonderful reminder of a fun, fun era.
Chuck Most Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 I love the idea (you had me at "Thunderbucket" ) and I love the finished product even more.
mr moto Posted January 6, 2018 Author Posted January 6, 2018 Thanks everybody! I was really surprised to see this thread resurface.
Chuck Mols Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 Looks alot like the style of the very early sixties (one of my favorite periods), great blend of brands and a great job.
damodelguy az Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 very cool, i dont build many buckets but i really like this. nice conversion
Snake45 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Very imaginative and VERY cool! And, I might add, one of the cleanest builds I've ever seen of this kit. Well done and model on!
GLMFAA1 Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Pretty neat build, always a 60's t bird fan, My thought would have been a 'tilt wheel' greg
