Jaguar man 21 Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 my dads birthday is tomorrow so I can finally give it to him, I finished it a week or so ago but I finally got around to taking pictures. The stripes put up a fight so there not perfect but I'm just happy it's done.
Jaguar man 21 Posted July 24, 2017 Author Posted July 24, 2017 Thanks Rex! I know he will his first was a 1973 Mach 1 his current is a 2006 GT hopefully we can own a 1:1 someday
vamach1 Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 (edited) I sound like your father. I have a 1972 Mach1, a 2014 convertible which replaced a 2004 Mach1. My son has a 2001 GT. I almost forgot, I have a Factory Five Cobra for when I want to go really fast. 71-73 Mach1's are very affordable compared to 65-70 fastbacks. Edited July 24, 2017 by vamach1 123
DumpyDan Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Looks real good, at least you were able to get the strips on, I just threw them out

cobramike Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Jeremy, you did that car right! Please tell us what your dad's reaction was to it. Giving away my age i rented one of these back in the day. What a car it was! I ran out and bought a 66 gt fastback in candy apple red' a week later, had her till 1982 when i sold it for.....750.00 bucks. Talk about stupid. But i never thought it would be of any value if i kept it longer.
