CarlR Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 This was a fun, relaxing build. The fit oif the parts was excellent - no surprises during assembly and, as the ladies say.."It's just too cute!"
bbowser Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 That looks really cool! Great color choices, were the seat patterns decals in the kit?
Sixties Sam Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Great looking model! Good color choice, and well done!Sam
CarlR Posted August 30, 2017 Author Posted August 30, 2017 thank you all for your positive comments.bbowser... apologies for the delay in replying. The decal sheet does offer one choice for the seat pattern - basically black squares with a thin blue line separating them. I downloaded some plaid patterns, duplicated the swatch I liked until I had an area big enough to cover the seat and then printed it. I then trimmed the print to fit and glued it to the model with white glue.below is a link to a review which has a photo of the decal sheet...http://www.scalemodelnews.com/2017/01/a-big-kit-of-small-machine-isetta.html
Classicgas Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Very cool. I bet in 1/16 it's not alot bigger than most 1/25 cars.

drodg Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Very cool. Who would think to build one. I wonder what they are like or were like to drive? Great job.
PatW Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Wowee, You've made a super job of this one! There were a lot of these plus Messerschmitt's on the streets here in the UK when I was growing up 1948 onwards. These in particular were easy to park, drive forwards to the kerb, open the 'front' door and step onto the pavement.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 That's a realistic one. Almost can hear that tiny engine. Those little cars were manufactured here in Brasil by Romi industrial LTDA Company, and the cars were called Romi-Isettas. They are kind of big (no pun intended) on cars shows around my corner of the woods. There is always one or two. I think they make great weather proof motorcycles, but if intended as a car, it's a big not, thanks.
