Brutalform
Finished this up a couple weeks ago. It was a fun build. Can't wait till the new release with the SOHC comes out.

Brutalform
Mighty fine looking Comet. Beautiful replica, and that paint is so smooth. What kit did you score that Ford SOHC engine from?Thanks.... the engine is from the AMT 66 Galaxie kit. The carbs are from the 60 Starliner custom kit. It did need some work to get it to look decent. TarheelRick
Thanks.... the engine is from the AMT 66 Galaxie kit. The carbs are from the 60 Starliner custom kit. It did need some work to get it to look decent. If that is the same molding as in the 69 Galaxie "some work" is being overly kind.

Brutalform
Hmmm, I don't know how I messed up your quote, I'm on my phone and did something wrong... but anyway, thanks for the kind reply. The paint is Tamiya AS-10 Ocean Gray. It's not perfect, but it was a close match to the real car. Edited October 9, 2017 by Brutalform . I used Tamiya Italian Red for the exterior and interior, with Dull Cote on the interior. If I remember correctly... I used Tamiya Dull Red for the interior floor.
