crazyjim Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 This is the Foose car that I modified to what I like. Rear fins have been smoothed down and the original taillights filled. Cut a slit along the trunk line for the taillight. Stripped the chrome off the original bumpers to use as rolled pans. Dual quad headlights up front with a grille from the parts box. I used the kit wheel/tires because the red stripe goes well with the red in the interior and engine.
Foxer Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 That really looks good ... the rear end especially!
Bernard Kron Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 (edited) That's a pretty darned ambitious re-do and is so well integrated that it almost slips by unnoticed. And to my eyes it's quite an improvement over the kit version. Nice job! I especially like the stavked headlights and the re-profiled rear end treatment. Thanks for sharing it with us. I'm sure it will inspire others to try their hand. Edited October 9, 2017 by Bernard Kron
donb Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Like others, back looks great! Nice interior and the wheels fit nicely with the car. Another nice build Jim!
RestoModGuy Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I really like the suttle customizing you did. Everyone is building this kit it seems, kinda like when the Starsky and Hutch Torino came out, great to see a different variation built. Nice work!
espo Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I like it. You made a Custom out of a Custom. Tail lights look much cleaner and the De Soto grill look good also.
crazyjim Posted October 9, 2017 Author Posted October 9, 2017 Thanks Bernard, Donald, Jim, David, and Paul.
Ramfins59 Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Great work on this Caddy Jim. I just may have to pick up one of these kits.
crazyjim Posted October 9, 2017 Author Posted October 9, 2017 Thanks Rich. By all means get the kit. It's very nice.
#1 model citizen Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I too like the rear & you did a great job integrating the dual headlights into a car not originally designed for them. Not many have pulled it off as convincingly as you. Great job!
Jmaracing Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 That's a pretty slick looking eldo Jim. Awesome job!!!!
wayne swayze Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Now, that's really classy! Super nice job Jìm!
Hmann68 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Great looking ride! Love your stuff, always cool.
