Furiousgeorge
After years sitting in the corner of my bench, finally got this one done! Has a ‘71 Charger engine bay, chassis and engine. Not the greatest kit, and added issues with the Charger parts, but I got it together!

Furiousgeorge
Thanks! I may change out the tires and rims though. When I started it, I was going for a ‘70’s street machine type of look. But seeing the pictures, the fronts just seem too big.

espo
Very nice and the Show Room style detailing really stands out. If you do change the wheels you might consider the factory style Rally wheel with a more standard size tire.
Furiousgeorge
Thanks! I still have the rally wheels that it came with, but the tires are terrible. I’m looking for better ones, might go with the Polyglas tires from the AMT Roadrunner.

montelsc
Love this build great height beautiful color have the same one built stock but why do these kits come with a Monaco dash would it have been so hard to make a satellite/roadrunner dash Edited December 25, 2017 by montelsc
Furiousgeorge
Not sure why the Monaco parts (I hear the chassis is Monaco as well?), but it’s the only game in town so a guys gotta make due. I have ged our the tires and wheels, went with stock rallyes and the pad printed Polyglas tires from the ‘68 Roadrunner. Much better. What do you mean by pad printed? Is that a technique you use or were they printed from factory?By the way it does look better!
