Started building this when the real one came out. The real one is ok , but I didn't like the windshield at all . Didn't care about the rear roof line either! So this is going to be more like I think it should be.20171206_112408.thumb.jpg.aa3e2e2a55d249e90512a945e5eb99ef.jpg20180212_225812.thumb.jpg.9bf29bf8c03f90c54843e681cb5e273c.jpg20180212_230131.thumb.jpg.ce48292aa018318d3a1ef7103ccec553.jpgk20180212_230107.thumb.jpg.12c7686509cee4eb4109a64e89ec6b91.jpg20180212_230039.thumb.jpg.5db8fc022c41c490107b814da5a0384f.jpg20180212_230008.thumb.jpg.f0a11f0e134a1fa72f61e878e926e548.jpg

Wow this is Awesome! Looks really great as a 4 door... wonder what a modern challenger would look like as a 4 door?

I also remember reading the article about the building of the 1:1 Sedan, and agree this is sort of a Why Didn't They do that. I like how you got the roof blended into the body and the doors look perfectly proportioned.

Thanks, That's a good ideal.  Probably using a Charger roof and windshield.

Would make a kickin cab!

Thanks , after I get the body finished and door panels done ,I was going to see if Jimmy Flintstone wants to cast it. He has done 4or5 other things I've built.

Thank you, the main thing I didn't like was using the E- body windshield.  Way to short and made the s-pillars a strange shape. Not putting down their work. I just think the original B- body windshield would have looked better.

The A pillars on the kit’s roof look much better than the 1:1 build. Also, the entire roofline of the 1:1 looks too thin above the doors. Cars like this were made with more headroom because people were still wearing hats. Might look at whipping up a flat hood and a simple egg crate grill based on the kit piece

Thanks , not sure on the hood yet. Still no sure of how I'm going to build it.  Might keep the Hemi and build it as a stock four door Hemi car . I've owned three 'Cudas all with that hood , they just look strange to me with a flat hood.

There are so many things wrong with the 1:1 that I don't know where to start, but probably the goofy-from-any-angle roof. Yours looks much better already, far better proportions. I also always thought that this car should really be a hardtop, not a pillared sedan.

You are right,  but to be to the way the factory would have  built it , it would have to be a post car.

I think a 4 door HEMI cuda with a 4 speed, shaker hood and Dana 60 would be awesome.

Not sure about the Shaker, but yes on the rest!
