Tried to replicate a long lost build but finding the original parts I used would have been cost prohibitive.

Picked up this old Revell kit in a package deal and went to work.

.....Love those Rader wheels on it...looks so gasser perfect, as you can just watch the haze of smoke off the slicks when he leaves the line....nice piece, Johnny...the Ace...:D

I agree. The '55 was the best of the tri-five Chevy's. Much cleaner lines than the '56 or '57.

Good looking 55. Like some of the others, the 55 is my favorite of the 50s Chevys. Such unusually clean lines for the era. And as your build demonstrates, they make great gassers. I remember glue bombing this kit when I was a kid, but I still loved it. Very nice work on yours.
