OldTrucker Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Tried to replicate a long lost build but finding the original parts I used would have been cost prohibitive. Picked up this old Revell kit in a package deal and went to work.
AC Norton Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 .....Love those Rader wheels on it...looks so gasser perfect, as you can just watch the haze of smoke off the slicks when he leaves the line....nice piece, Johnny...the Ace...
mredjr Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Great job!! I built that car back in the sixties needless to say it didn't look that good.
spike morelli Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Great looking "55. The "55 has always been my personal favorite of the tri-five Chevys.

Brutalform Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 That is one sharp, and super clean build. Perfect color, and perfect stance. Love those old gassers.
Bainford Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Good looking 55. Like some of the others, the 55 is my favorite of the 50s Chevys. Such unusually clean lines for the era. And as your build demonstrates, they make great gassers. I remember glue bombing this kit when I was a kid, but I still loved it. Very nice work on yours.
