Don't get me wrong on Aaron Kaufman, I still think he's smart and knows what he is doing. I also watched the "Scout build" but I still prefer the type of builds he did on Gas Monkey. I think that he may be doing some different subjects to separate himself from the Gas Monkey influence and try of offer something different from what all of the other such TV shows are doing. I truly hope he does well with his show, he was the one that would always figure out how to fix what ever was going wrong on the GS builds.

Anyone caught his new show yet? I just set it up to record last night.

There is 4 episodes aviabla on MTOD, I saw the first one but have not had time to see the rest of them yet. Looks like a good show.

Watched the 4 th one. He and his crew are now building a big rig race truck. I like him and the show but so far he has not built anything that really appeals to me.

Also it seems to me, at this point he's employing people to built toys for him. At what point is he going to generate revenue? He could pull in business on name recognition alone.

I remember seeing a personal profile of Aaron when he was leaving GM and as I recall it was said that he was in a very good place financially. I'm not sure but I think the story mentioned that he had a shop of his own already that was dong builds. Even on GM he was more of then planer and director on a build. He would jump in and get his hands dirty and you could tell he know what he was doing but for the most part he was a supervisor.
