I really like long distance off road racing.,like the Dakar,Baja.Motorcycles,trucks,big trucks,Cars,whatever.

Here's one I have in the stash, the REJI 1/24 scale 1999 Skoda Octavia rally car.  REJI is in the Czech Republic and does a lot of "local" cars in resin.  Their kits are very clean and come with photo-etch and decals.

Nice,I have the exact one.I weathered mine a few times over the years.Just curious,how much $$ are you asking?

I have a couple of kits that are pretty rare.Both Dakar bikes.One Honda,which is old,but isnt too rare.But the old Yamaha Tenere,is pretty rare.Im Trying to take a picture,BUT I CANT POST THEM!!!!!Don't know why.Duh.I Just like anything Dakar.

I am aware of the Honda kit but have never seen one in person.

Yup that's the Honda,but again,I can't post a picture of the Yamaha.It is the same scale as the Honda.

A company called MEA also make kits of 2 Dakar bikes in 1/43 scale - a BMW & a KTM.

You can get them from GrandPrixModels.com in the UK.

Sorry for the small pics, but that's all I can find on the web.

A Note of caution: The MEA kits can be real POSes to build, but with a little patience, they can be made into nice models.

I built this using a Jimmy Flintstone Resin Manx Body, Tamiya Mitsubishi 4X4 system, Corvair engine, Bull Bar and lights from a Lancia Stratus rally kit, Meyers Manx wheels and tyres working steering, Dakar decals and various spare parts.................
