Back when I was a kid in the Jurassic times, every kit producer had custom vans and several have been released lately. One that stands out is the Revell Chevy or GMC van with the custome grille and bumperettes. It was 1/25th scale and came in several variants. The ones I can remember were the Hardy Boys, the Charlie's Angels and the KISS vans. Were there any other versions and is this mold still around? I think I remember an A-Team version too, but not sure. Now another question, is it possible that someone could duplicate the decals for these versions?

It was released a few years ago but I don't think it's still in production.

Reproduction decals for several of the versions were available form various aftermarket decal makers.

The "KISS" and "A-Team" vans were AMT.

Didn't this one come just a couple of  years ago?

And now that it seems like all the domestic kits come from Round2, aren't the AMT and Revell kits all the same anyway? Looking at the contents, they sure seem like it.

Anyway, there was the AMT Dirty Donny van from a few years back, and the AMT Resuce van.

All pretty much identical.

The AMT and Revell kits may be of the same subject, but not the same parts trees and body. I remember years ago Revell and AMT both issued their versions of the '67 Chevelle SS. While they were similar in many ways as they were of the same subject, they even had some parts that could be forced to work on the other, but they were not the same.

Both are early 70s era vans, but the AMT is a long wheelbase, the Revell is a short wheelbase w/ fender flares.

The Revell vans are also 1/24 scale while the AMT kits are 1/25.

That's because it was a Monogram kit originally.   Now the custom Revell Chevy van (in the 2nd post above, orange) is 1/25th as it is originally a Revell tool.

Indeed, previous releases include, Vamprire, Blackgold, Desert Rat (a 4x4), and various NFL vans

In my judgement , Monogram was the winner in Chevrolet van kits . I was in the van accessory manufacturing business 1973 1988. All of my pieces were built to meet DOT and fit the model of van specific .

In the case of this Monogram Short Wheel base , this one got the details correct although I could care less as to the "Molded " wheel flares . It's "Fixable to those of us who didn't or need such additions . AMT's Chevrolet Vans of the last Dirty Donnie revision LOST the indentations in the roof . Nothing against the Long wheel base crowd , but an obvious detail omitted is just that .....

would also like to see the Revell Chevy reissued. I once had an old issue of it that was called California Cruiser but sadly I sold it. It had opening rear doors and full interior detail. I have not had the Monogram 1:24 kit but the AMT one is all empty inside.
