BeakDoc Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 My goal was to keep it a plain-Jane, unassuming street monster just like Plymouth intended.
espo Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Looks dead on as the Road Runner was a base base car with the 383 and 4-speed as standard. No frills and all go. You captured the look perfectly.
High octane Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Very nice build on that Road Runner Chris, as I just finished one last month only it was a '70. Did you use Testors Chrysler Yellow for the paint? I just love dem B-body Mopars!
NYLIBUD Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Yo Taxi!!!!Just joking,the car looks great.Excellent job.

The kit was molded in kind of a Georgia Pollen Yellow and the body was in great shape so I went straight on the raw plastic with 3 coats of Tamiya Pearl Yellow. I violated my own always-use-primer rule because I wanted to se what Pearl Yellow over pasty yellow would look like. It turned out more of a sunflower yellow than lemon yellow than I thought, but I liked the uniqueness of it so I decided to keep it that way. Thanks for looking.
Jmaracing Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Super sharp looking build. I like it a lot. Thanks for sharing.
Hmann68 Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 The 68 is still my fav year of RR's, yours looks great. Bench seat, dog dishes, round marker lights, hood paint, it all adds up to a proper 'Runner!
