Matt Bacon
I'd not seen one of these before browsing through the UltimateCarPage's Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza report, but while we're on the subject of beautiful sporty cars: It looks like a cross kit with a Ferrari 275GTB might work out... ;-P best, M. GerN
Maserati 3500 gt, customized. This kit, or the Monogram reissue, for a starting point. Or a Ferrari 250 Berlinetta. There was also a similar 250 with a straighter rear fender. Or for a real challenge.

Snake45
Maybe I was thinking of TVR, or maybe that old SAAB sports car. Something about it reminds me of SOMETHING.

I see a lot of vintage Ferrari in it, which should probably be expected, since the company who built it, Scaglietti, also did a lot of work for Ferrari. Matt Bacon
I'd say 250SWB meets 275 GTB except for the fact it doesn't have any "hips" and both of those do... Something of the Lotus Elan Plus 2 in that waistline... best, M.

C pillar to rear fender is similar to rear fender to rear window area on the RX7. I see it. Not identical but similar.

Classicgas
It's there. I owned a first gen RX-7. Know em well. its there. Look where the rear window on the RX-7 meets the rear fender, imagine it is sheet metal instead of glass then look at that same area on the Vette. It's there.
