Maybe I was thinking of TVR, or maybe that old SAAB sports car. Something about it reminds me of SOMETHING.

not surprising, since styllists do tend to cover similar territory.  I see a lot of vintage Ferrari in it,  which should probably be expected, since the company who built it, Scaglietti, also did a lot of work for Ferrari.

I'd say 250SWB meets 275 GTB except for the fact it doesn't have any "hips" and both of those do...

Something of the Lotus Elan Plus 2 in that waistline...

C pillar to rear fender is similar to rear fender to rear window area on the RX7. I see it. Not identical but similar.

It's there. I owned a first gen RX-7. Know em well. its there. Look where the rear window on the RX-7 meets the rear fender, imagine it is sheet metal instead of glass then look at that same area on the Vette. It's there.
