MarcelT4 Posted August 2, 2018 Author Posted August 2, 2018 Now the implantation of the Honda engine is completed. The wheel suspensions are also installed. The exhaust was extended by Golf 2 parts.
MarcelT4 Posted August 3, 2018 Author Posted August 3, 2018 Thank you, did I mention that the paint is Gravity Colors? The clearcoat is 2K clearcoat from Zero Paints.
MarcelT4 Posted August 8, 2018 Author Posted August 8, 2018 Hello, Today I did very little with the BMW Mini. All holes were made by eye. For the other side, a template is made of it.

MarcelT4 Posted August 10, 2018 Author Posted August 10, 2018 Back to the BMW Mini. The holes are now drilled, but unfortunately I get nowhere the rivets with 0.6 head.
MarcelT4 Posted August 12, 2018 Author Posted August 12, 2018 Unfortunately, I have to pause with the little mini now. I do not really like the rims anymore. The original Minilite fit really better on it. But I have to find the first now. But now for the BMW Mini, after I have drilled all the holes, I have sanded everything again. And now everything is primed in white. What do you all mean?
MarcelT4 Posted August 29, 2018 Author Posted August 29, 2018 Today there are more WIP pictures. New exhaust system.
MarcelT4 Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 Now, more paintwork on the roof at the BMW Mini. Now you can see a little taste of the color.

MarcelT4 Posted September 16, 2018 Author Posted September 16, 2018 Thanks, Dann. Now, I finished the MK1. Outdoor pics comes.
Rider Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 (edited) Killer work, great job all round. Love that paint. Edited September 17, 2018 by Rider
Gramps46 Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 Outstanding! I would be proud to cruise the streets in that one.
MarcelT4 Posted September 17, 2018 Author Posted September 17, 2018 Thank you very much. I think that's the mini for America.
MarcelT4 Posted September 21, 2018 Author Posted September 21, 2018 Now back to the BMW Mini. The paint is on it and the rivets were used.

Funkychiken Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 That little mini's paint job is amazing!
MarcelT4 Posted September 25, 2018 Author Posted September 25, 2018 Hello, I donated the Mini a facelift and installed the new headlights. Still without glass. And the wheel / tire combination is now also.
geetee66 Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 Wow! They're both extremely cool. I used that Honda engine in the rear of my Mini build. They're quite nice. Superb 3D printed parts. I haven't got a clue how to do that, but your results are amazing. Really nice paint, too. I'd love to be able to get mine that smooth.
MarcelT4 Posted December 5, 2018 Author Posted December 5, 2018 You had to wait a long time, but now it could finally go on with the BMW Mini. In Germany, the longed-for honeycomb grid is now available as etched parts. But see for yourself.
