mrmike Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 This is my '32 Ford 5 Window Coupe painted with Testors Lime Ice One Coat Lacquer with a green and white interior, hand painted wide whitewall tires, fuzzy dice, wired engine, aluminium tubing exhaust tips, and seat belts.
Phildaupho Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Always good to see a nicely built Deuce and yours illustrates that a great looking hot rod model can be built directly out of the box. I sure hope this kit and all the other Deuce versions will be available for years to come.
mrmike Posted June 29, 2018 Author Posted June 29, 2018 Thank you Jim, Ray, and Phil! I have a friend who only builds the AMT '32 Fords as hot rods. He also has a large collection of Revell that he uses for parts only and he may have built one or two of those kits. If you think my '32 looks nice, you should see his collection of built rods!
Flatout Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Well done Mike....very clean, love the lime green and white color combo, I used the same colors on a 3 window a few years back. Great looking 32!
espo Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Turned out perfect. I enjoyed watching you work on this build.
PARTSMARTY Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 (edited) Love it-Love it-Love it !!!-what did you use for painting your whitewalls? Edited June 30, 2018 by PARTSMARTY
bytownshaker Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Beautiful build Mike. Not a comment on your build but we are so used to seeing the roofs chopped on 32 Ford's that a unchopped one looks odd. Again you did a marvelous job. ???

I used Tamiya XF-2 Flat White to make my Whitewalls. Thank you guys! This '32 is definitely something different to build. I found most of my influence from members of my Model Club.
slusher Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Sweet 32 Ford Mike! Very clean! I really like it...
mrmike Posted July 16, 2018 Author Posted July 16, 2018 Thank you Carl! I appreciate the kind words! One of my influences for this build past away this morning. Classic Plastic Model Club President Del Paone has gone to the big model bench in the sky. Thank you Del for you support and guidance. You will be sorely missed...
