Chuck Most Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 This is the recent reissue of the MPC kit, fitted with the tanker body from a modified Lindberg trailer kit. The various water pipes and caps were made from various plastic rod, and the whole mess was weathered. This isn't a replica of a particular truck but kind of a "composite" of some of the crusty old water trucks I've seen in use in the area, and in online photos.
Warren D Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 Looks good. Interesting spacing between the rear axles, is that straight from the kit?

truckabilly Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 Nice build. The weathering is spot on. Was it made by using a hair spray method?
landman Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 Love it. Looks like I might have to go attend some weathering classes. When do you start the next session?
hct728(Bob) Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 Great matchup, very well done. Nice job on the paint and weathering!
