Jon Haigwood Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 This was a quick fun build. My club decided on yet another challenge build. I actually finished this before the deadline (Veterans Day) . Our club normally doesn't do military builds but in honor of Veterans Day we did this one. I had a Surfite that I wanted to do something different with and a Jeep kit that had some WWII weapons and other misc. parts and decals, so I combined the two and ended up with this. Not meant to be a showstopper just a fun build. This is what you would get if Ed Roth designed for the Army. I call it the Jeepite.
Lunajammer Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 I love it. I knew there's a lot more fun to be had with these than just surfers and levi-cars.
bbowser Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Great idea, well executed! Ed Roth and the Army in the same sentence, I'll bet that's a first
stavanzer Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 Neat. It reminds me of this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vespa_150_TAP Recoilless Rifle on a Vespa Scooter

89AKurt Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 That's great! I built a Lambo S-tank, same idea, blast out something rivet counters will ignore.
