Deuces
I use black duplicolor trim paint for interiors... Looks like rich black leather when dry....
Dann Tier
Hey, bud!, i'm glad you're back at this one!!….I could build a million of these too!! -To me its one of the nicest, as well as fun to build kits ever!! Some may say, "but it doesn't have a complete engine...", but it has a perfect balance of parts count, ease of assembly, and just the right look!!!....you don't even have to fix the ride height!!!......anyway, keep up the great look!!..its turning out beautifully!! Italianhorses
Yeah, I'd hit that with some dull coat. Though, I'm sure glossy vinyl seats could have been all the rage in the 70's.

I had the pleasure of being allowed to sit in and inspect a new Miura at a dealership back in the day, and the cream-colored interior was an unbelievable environment. Buttery smooth, aromatic leather that was soft and matte-finished.
Ich_Will
Did a very little bit of painting. Motor details and shocks. I also put a satin coat on the seats but they are still way too glossy. I’ll have to hit the hobby shop and get some matte.

Ich_Will
I kinda wish it had a full motor, the assembly of it seems like it could have been as easy, or easier to have the whole thing.
Ahajmano
Will you keep the rear window louvers off? I feel like you wont see much once they are installed.

Duplicolors Universal Flat Black is excellent too!!, but can be more humidity sensitive than their other paints.
Ich_Will
Well, I’ve hit the seats with some matte medium. This car has taught me a few additional lessons with how I’ll proceed from now on, painting and such. I’ve done a bit more on the motor and I really like how it came together. Tommy124
This is GOLD, Mr. Will! All my life I've been in love with it's color, it's brilliance, it's divine heaviness. And I welcome any enterprise... Great process, Will. Miura is once of the few sports cars which may have any body parts painted in gold, I feel. The choice of gold color looks real nice. What is it - Tamiya TS 21? Edited October 29, 2018 by Tommy124

It’s been a while since I’ve seen Goldfinger. My parents loved the Bond movies. Now I’ll have to rewatch them. You are correct, it is TS 21. I was impressed how nice it sprayed. I’m always nervous about metallics. 18 hours ago, Dann Tier said: FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Thanks Dann!
