If you click on the Revell USA link it's still dead. Seems to be a lot missing from the German site that was on the spreadsheet shown recently.

Yes, I'm serious. Why do a thread only half way? :(

Pictures, links, all add to the enhancement and better understanding of what one is trying to convey.

No, it isn't.  It redirects to the German site (you may need to clear your cookies to see it(.  As far as the stuff on the spreadsheet, they haven't updated the site.  I'm sure they will in due time.

Go out the site and look for yourself...it's pretty easy.

I just don't get the laziness of expecting people to post the links for you, when you can easily find it yourself on the Internet...it's not like we are discussing an obscure resin caster.  Revell's website is easy to find with minimal effort.

I've had this bookmarked for years, anytime I need a model related link I just go into my favorites and it's there. Search for it once, save it, and you always have it when you need

I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but the Revell-Monogram link at rocketfin.com does not work. The difference being http:// as compared to https://

I not know enough about hyper text protocol to understand the difference. LOL

My point was by saving the Rocketfin link you would then have several links. I suppose I'll go back to just viewing the board instead of participating.

Sorry Al, no criticism was intended. I applaud you for the solid recommendation. I have used rocketfin in the past as well. Since the initial posting revolved around Revell, I thought what the heck, check out the Revell link on Rocketfin. That is when I made the discovery and pointed it out. I did not mean to deter you from participating. This ia a great site to follow and participate on. Lots of smilies to indicate my positive intent with this response. :D:D:D

I discovered something new here by exploring the link that Rob Hall posted and the link that was included on the rocketfin website as linked by Model Truck Shop. I am always curious about things and tend to pursue them to find out answers for myself. I guess that in hyper text terms https denotes a different address/location than http  i need some schooling on this! LOL

HTTPS just means Secure HTTP...with an SSL certificate for an encrypted connection.  Those are used for ecommerce sites or sites where users enter personal information.  HTTPS also works over a different TCP/IP port than HTTP, usually 443 instead of 80.

Thanks Rob. The concept of additional security I understand. The part about utilizing port 443 as opposed to port 80 goes well beyond my scope of computer knowledge. LOL

If you Google Revell USA you get the Revell USA website link....click on it and you get this....no matter what you refresh. As a retired IT Analyst......I may know this one... Thanks....

The url with http redirects, not with https.   If you type in www.revell.com in your browser, it redirects to the German site.

and including a simple link in the original post would certainly have precluded all this animosity. and made the whole thing much easier to navigate and understand, seriously.
