Hello folks,

Been lurking these forums for a while... great source of knowledge and lots of good eye candy to browse.

Had RC experience before with Tamiya products and other various hobby brands but this is my first serious attempt at a 1/24 scale model. Lots of amateur mistakes made but I am overall happy with the end results.

I think you have done a great job on this. You are probably the only one who sees your mistakes, I sure don't!  Great looking piece!

Thank you folks for the kind words. A lot of tiny mistakes and imperfections upon close inspection.... the photos seem to hide most of them  I thought about weathering but its outside of my comfort zone right now in terms of modeling ability/experience (especially with rally style  - heavy dirt).

Hey, the mere fact that you finished it, is much more than I can say!  I have stalled on my Porsche 959 Paris Dakar project, which I plan to make filthy.

Very nice indeed, well done. We have the Prodrive factory about 20 miles from here, so have seen many on the road over the years from the first rally prototypes to the last of the factory rally cars camo'd on testing runs. The late Richard Burns didn't live far from here so saw him on his motorbike quite a few times.
