Brutalform Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Just finished the truck yesterday. Had the same problem with the interior tub that others mentioned. After sanding the sink marks on the front of the tub, (against the firewall) it slipped right in. Also, the instructions state to install the windshield from the inside. I found it goes in easier from the outside. I’ll most likely build another one a little different from the box art. When Joseph at Fireball comes out with a suspension conversion, that is... I’d like to get the 69 truck, but I haven’t seen any in a while. The rear could sit up a bit higher, but this is the way it will stay.
suprafastcelica Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 That's not the kit box right height is it? I love the way it looks. Want to do the same to mine.
cobraman Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 Turned out great. I never thought about installing the windshield from the outside. I would not have thought it would work. I had to fit mine.
RustedBronco Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 Nice build. Does the kit have the 3/4 ton wheels and axles in it?

You must prop the rear of the bed up until the lines of cab continue a straight line to the lines of the bed. If built according to instructions, you will build the truck with a broken back. Notice the gap between cab and bed. Wide at top, narrow at bottom. Keep the gap equal, you'll solve the problem.
Gerald Haney Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 (edited) The stance looks real good. I like the wheels. Cab lights and color reminds me the truck I grew up in. This one is really cool. Good job! ?? Edited October 20, 2018 by Gerald Haney
