Just wrapped up the '69 Galaxie. GOTTER DONE!  Don't have time to take and 'shop the pics today, will try to get them up tomorrow.

And now a Big Announcement: Since we don't seem to have too many completions so far this round, I am Snake-ficially declaring tomorrow (Friday) September 31. Declare your build DONE by midnight tomorrow night, and post finished pics by midnight Sunday (October 3), and you'll be officially credited with completing this round. Do you smell what I'm cookin' here, fellas? ;)

Now GITTER DONE! B)

As promised, here's the '69 Galaxie.  Not my best model ever, but it still goes in the DONE column.

I'm declaring my Chevelle done, I'll have finished photos up by Sunday. One question, is it midnight local time or Styrenestan time?

Nice job on the Galaxie. ?

I have crashed and burned this round! Blame it on summer!  I have not worked on anything for a few weeks.

I will roll it over to next round. At least fall into winter will be better weather to hide in the model room!

Styrenestan time would work better for you. But for all I know, you're vacationing in California, which would work even better. ;)

As I feared when I signed up that summer would not allow for much modeling. I have fought with the paint when I did find time. I did shoot the 3rd color on the tri-tone paint scheme Thursday and should be ready to polish tonight. I have also fashioned an AC duct for the package shelf.
Although it’s not eligible for another round, I shall continue working on it and post progress pics here with Snake’s permission.

GOTTER DONE! Here's my Revell '65 Chevelle SS 396 Z-16. I did manage to get some glue on the vent window glass but apart from that it went together without any trouble. Another one off the bench and on display. ?

Dave, did you ever finish the Honda that you were making such great progress on?

If not, we only had three completions--and nine participants--this round. That's pretty poor.  I'm thinking that maybe this thing has played itself out.

If anyone wants another round (which would end on December 31), sound off now.

I really messed up the clearcoat on the judge. It was cast in orange so I thought I could just spray clear over it. I wound up abandoning these because I replaced them with 1/18 diecasts so the plastic ones have been sitting in the closet ever since.

Looking good in green! The new color scheme has really changed its appearance for the better.

Or is it a different model? Was it the yellow one? I’m not sure after giving it a second look ??
