#1 model citizen Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Gotter done just under the wire! Have to find some red side markers as the ones in the kit are too small. Also have to decide on a license plate. More pics after I get a load on.
ksnow Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 I'll dig out one of my old projects and see what state it is in. Maybe I'll join in this round. Might have to wait until next round, spring is busy around here with gardens and chicks.

Misha Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 (edited) Congrats to all the participants on this round, it’s great to see such a high percentage of completed builds! I’m really enjoying the BOYD thread, having completed two long standing projects and I’m on for the next round. I would like to complete a build that was last touched in April of 2014, seven years ago, of a Chopped T Altered. It is based on the DD kit utilizing the altered chassis with the Hemi and mounting the chopped T body with a candy red paint scheme. Been awhile since the above photo and I don’t remember whether the silver base was enamel or lacquer, so to be safe I’m leaning to using an enamel base for the Alclad candy red which is also enamel based I believe. I had some trouble with the initial silver coat and that was what brought the build to a stop. So count me in Snake, cheers Misha Edited April 1, 2021 by Misha Spellin’

ksnow Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Well, I guess I'll throw my hat in the ring. This kit was started in 97 or 98. I was aiming to replicate a coworkers camaro she bought new in 77. I filled in the t tops and was prepping to add a vinyl half top. Her car was a dark brown with a tannish top. Plain trim, no spoiler. Her's had the 6 cylinder, at the time i had no donor 6's, so i installed the kits v8. She passed a few years ago, i figure i should still finish it up the way i intended to. Here's the kit I started with and where it was when I boxed it up.

NZanglia Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Love me an Orange Chevelle. Wish could afford the real deal also?
NZanglia Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 @Snake45Can I resume my build now??????? And hope we git enough entries this round.

NZanglia Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 (edited) Cheers Tim. My next Chevelle is a project and a half. Will probably run over 2 rounds so will need to get Mustang done first Edited April 2, 2021 by NZanglia
NZanglia Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 In the round before last I got as far as painting the body shell before having to pack up to renovate a bedroom over summer. I didn't get to post the body at that time so here is where I will jumping back in from. Body needs polishing, fire wall painting and decalling. Inside will be brush painted matt black.
Whosurdaddy209 Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Does the scale matter? I have a 1/12 monogram 67 corvette that's has been on the dead shelf for about 3 years now

Just a box stock build. It was the first semi trailer I built. I was most concerned about it going together with all the sides squaring up. As it turned out that was not a problem. Finding a place to build something so big seemed to be the biggest challenge! The washer & dryer worked well when there was no laundry to do. ? Thanks to Snake I gotter done!
#1 model citizen Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 (edited) A few pics with a load on. I was disappointed that it is not all that big and looks like it will not hold 4 mid to late 50’s Mopars as I had hoped. Can you imagine backing that Plymouth up the ramps?!Not much room for a big car here. The pickup fits well in that spot but it had to ride on the tailgate since it was the only vehicle with “parking brakes!”? Edited April 2, 2021 by #1 model citizen
#1 model citizen Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 I may be wrong! There could be enough room for 4 or possibly 5 fifty’s MoPars! Now to get busy and get them built!
