Gerald Haney Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 This was a quick rebuild. Whatta ya think? I put a Weathered paint job and on to the next one...

Eric Macleod Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Monogram kit? Looks the part for sure. Great work.
Red318 Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 I think you've nailed that one. Thanks for posting the "in progress" pics too, they're really useful.

espo Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Looks so good I can almost smell the musty mohair interior.
Gerald Haney Posted December 3, 2018 Author Posted December 3, 2018 Thank you everyone for all the nice compliments. "bettie" turned out realistic looking. I really like using the salt technique and using different vallejo washes to weather and create a life for the models. Getting my airbrush was the best thing I've purchased to help with the realism. The detail and precision I can shoot paint is so much more than I can ever get with a rattlecan. Now if I could only do slick paint jobs like the ones I see posted here all the time. practice practice practice.
