I work for a GM dealer as a tech, as such, over time I have ordered touch up paint in spray cans from work when I see colors I like. And ya, I got lazy on the alternator, I usually paint them with aluminum plate paint?

Why the GM colors?

The paint doesn't know what car it's supposed to go on. If it looks like an original color, then it looks right!

I say "it looks right!"

Didn't realize it was a crime to ask the op why he used a certain paint. The closest Mopar color to this in 69 was F8 Dark Green and it is a little bit lighter than this. But this is close and a nice job.

Oh man I love it! This brings back memories of high school in the 80’s, as my buddy Gary and I drove a F8 green 69 r/t charger to school every day and cruising around! It also had black stripe, green interior and green roof. Great times and great job on yours!

Thanks everyone, wasn’t sure if the colors were going to work, but once the bmf was on, it looked ‘right’ to me, before bmf I wasn’t too sure......
