tbill Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Yet another charger off the bench, this one is GM Sea Grass metallic with a hunter green top.
High octane Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Very nice Tom, as I just love dem B-body Mopars!
Classicgas Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Very nice. Why the GM colors? One tip, Dullcoat the alternator.
tbill Posted December 9, 2018 Author Posted December 9, 2018 I work for a GM dealer as a tech, as such, over time I have ordered touch up paint in spray cans from work when I see colors I like. And ya, I got lazy on the alternator, I usually paint them with aluminum plate paint?

Dragonhawk1066 Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Another nice looking Charger! Well done!
espo Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Great paint finish and I like the way you detailed the engine.

The closest Mopar color to this in 69 was F8 Dark Green and it is a little bit lighter than this. But this is close and a nice job. Edited December 10, 2018 by Classicgas
Hmann68 Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Oh man I love it! This brings back memories of high school in the 80’s, as my buddy Gary and I drove a F8 green 69 r/t charger to school every day and cruising around! It also had black stripe, green interior and green roof. Great times and great job on yours!
tbill Posted December 10, 2018 Author Posted December 10, 2018 Thanks everyone, wasn’t sure if the colors were going to work, but once the bmf was on, it looked ‘right’ to me, before bmf I wasn’t too sure......
