You don't see many door cars in Super Comp (mostly dragsters) but I built this 'Vette for the S/C category anyway. I put it together  with a diorama in mind with the tarp and the open chute and other bits and pieces. I used an original Revell Hot Rod pro street Corvette as the basis. It comes with a solid mount rear end and  to make it more real I scratch made a ladder bar with coil overs rear end set up. The rollbar in the kit is adequate but to make it modern I added a funny car cage. I added wired electronics, scratch made window net and seat belt harness. I used and assortment of graphics and decals and its painted in MM paint and automotive clear.  Thanks and I hope you enjoy.

Very nicely done Corvette as always from your bench! Nice paint and decal work as usual. The chute and tarp turned out very realistic, too. Definitely something that I could see while walking in the pits. Nicely done.
