RDean58
After 17 years, this one finally got dragged over the finish line today. Painted Auto touch up Ultra Marine blue with Kens fuzzy fur carpet and white plastic seats. Thanks for looking.

58 Impala
Nice job. I used to have a 65 Impala convertible 283cid Canary yellow w/black interior and top.

tmb727
Nice color combo, especially for a convertible. Is that the engine that came with the kit? I've never seen that particular intake set up on a Chevy engine before other than the cross ram on the Revell '69 Camaro. Looks cool. espo
Very nice, great color and interior. The last of the 409's in early '65 models. Did the intake come from the AMT '62 Bel Air kit ?
RDean58
Hi, and thank you all for the great comments. Yes, the engine block came in the kit, but the intake, carbs, and valve covers came from the AMT 62 Bel Air kit. The header type exhaust manifolds came in the Revell 65 Impala convertible kit as well. While I'm at it, the wheels came from the AMT 63 Impala kit while the tires are from later AMT kits like the 67 Mustang.
