justanothermopar Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Always liked David Freiburger's Superbee. Great show, great guys, great cars. So why not to have one in my shelves. I did not intend to make a perfect copy, just the basic appearance. Roll cage and some instruments were added, wheels and tires I believe are from the AMT Charger 500 (I am not 100% satisfied with the back wheels, anyway....). The cross-ram intake is from Missing Link. All the rest is scratch build. The build was fun, hope you guys enjoy it.
'70 Grande Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Really like this build! Colors, stance and details all look terrific! I think the wheel/tire combo you used is one thing that really sets this build off; I wouldn't change a thing! Did you scratchbuild the rear/side window glass; it doesn't look like a kit part?
Geno Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Sebastion, that is an exceptional build. Job well done.
High octane Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Very nice build on that Bee and I love the engine detail as well. I just love dem B-body Mopars!
Classicgas Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Beautiful model. Looks like the c pillar seam line came back to haunt you.
Cardz Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Great looking Superbee....loving the engine detail! Im working on the pro street version. I dont like how the front grill sit betwwe the fenders. Deciding if i should try and recess it or just live with it. Anyway, nice work on yours!
Hmann68 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 One nice lookin’ Bee! I had issues with mine and put it away a while back, this makes me want to dig it out and fight it some more! Great work, Mopar to ya
Furiousgeorge Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Great build! Did the engine parts and scoop come from the Hemi dart kit?

Thanks. ...The side windows are part of the AMT roadrunner kits, I think the superbee kits are having them, too. Not sure if all of them anyway. Just cut the front part and you have it.

The engine is mostly the AMT Roadrunner Hemi, air cleaners, too. The cross ram intake is from Missing Link, carburators and ignition distributor are from the Revell Charger, rest is scratch. The hood is taken from the Revell Landy Charger kit.
justanothermopar Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 ...just some more pics of the engine and from the workbench (= living room table).

NYLIBUD Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Hey can you throw me the keys.I promise I'll bring it right back..Actually very nice build
