mrmike Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 This is my Bullitt '68 Mustang painted with Highland Green Metallic by Scalefinishes with a Tamiya Semi-Gloss Black interior, wheels and tires from two Revell '32 Fords, headers from the Revell '68 Mustang GT 2+2, resin carburetor, seat belts buckles from Model Car Garage, wired engine, and a resin Optima battery.
espo Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 That looks like it just stepped out of the movie. I had a co worker that had a twin to this car back then before the movie came out. You know we started all calling him Bullitt after that.
slusher Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 Looks great Mike! Gives me the urge to watch the movie again friend....
THORDOOR220 Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 Been following for a while, love how it turned out. Very nice build
mrmike Posted February 19, 2019 Author Posted February 19, 2019 Thank you everyone! I appreciate the nice comments! It's funny that as I look over this build, I am now finding little things that need touch ups and corrections. I will fix those items as I look over this model.
fivesuns Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Looks great. Did you make the battery hold down?
mrmike Posted February 20, 2019 Author Posted February 20, 2019 Thanks Howard! No, the battery tie-down came with the battery.
