64SS350
I am curious, I started seeing that Motor Sports is coming out with a Revell Ford GT, how does this work that they put their name on the kit and re-box it? Is this made elsewhere to make it more accessible in the US?

Rob Hall
That’s the US market box art for the Revell Ford GT race car, previously released in the Revell of Germany style box art and flat box. Revell often puts a Motor Sports logo on race car kits, like they did with the Corvette C7 R and others....just one of their packaging categorizations like Streetburners, Revell Muscle, etc. Edited March 23, 2019 by Rob Hall
martinfan5
Like Rob said, Motorsports is the category Revell uses for some race car kits.
Bill J
I have one of the German issued Revell kits and I can say it looks very good. I have not done much with mine but I did look it over and it looks good. The US version will be the same, as far as I can tell. I may pick up another if the price is right on the US version. 64SS350
I did get a few of the German issues as well, at a good price, but not that good. May get a few more myself, if they don't sell out too quickly.
ZTony8
I've seen a Revell- Germany snap kit of this car and it's $41 (!). I trust that this isn't the same kit.

Take a look at some of the detail pics on the link. https://www.revell.de/en/products/modelmaking/cars/motorsport/ford-gt-le-mans-2017.html https://stage.revell.de/fileadmin/import/images/bau/07041_%23BAU_FORD_GT_LE_MANS_V01_02_LOW.PDF Edited March 26, 2019 by The Junkman
Bill Eh?
On the page that Steve linked, you can download a .pdf copy of the intstructions. After clicking on the instructions link, look for 07041. I downloaded a copy. It will be interesting to see if the instructions included in the Motorsport boxing are the same. Kit Basher
Is there any difference between the Revell Germany kit and the Revell US kit? (Other than price.)

No, the actual kit/contents are the same, street cars get a different decal sheet ( EU kits get the EU plates on the decal sheet, US kits don't)
