Renegade
Great color. Would love to have a set of those decals. Wish somebody made those. I have a couple of SD's begging for them.
Geno
Terry, I had Jeff at Firebird Designs custom make these specifically for this build. He does a great job. Check out his website. He makes these for the Monogram '60 Sedan Delivery so I worked with him to get them made for this truck.

espo
I have put off building this kit even though I have had it for years. The reason was that the roof just didn't look correct to my eye and I was to lazy to try and do anything about it. After seeing what you are doing with this build I now think I should reconsider building it. Even without touching the roof shape your build looks to good to ignore. By the way you picked one of my favorite colors. Is the chassis and suspension from this kit or parts from another??
Geno
Thanks Dave, and everyone else for the kind words. It's the kit chassis I just added the coil overs. I also added the Boss 429 engine over the kit and the seats and shifter are from my parts stash. Wheels and tires are Pegasus. The floor mats I made from some vinyl the missus had lying around. The roof I sanded and shaped until I got the more rounded look of the real truck. I was afraid to go too far and sand completely through. It's not perfect but does look better. Hey Gene, decades ago I took the kit back to stock and agree it is a pretty nice kit. Never understood why Monogram never offered the stock pieces. Mine remains half built the past 25-yrs too. Looking forward to seeing it with decals Gene.
