They can put whatever decals they want in the box as long as the kit is fun to build. And the box color scheme is yummy.

I prefer the Stooge release version myself, loved those decals but I'll build this one up happily.

Wonder what it means by display case?  If it's the standard AMT hard plastic clear box that's a nice addition. Wish every kit had one in it. LOL

What are the custom wheels/tires in this issue? Optional engine?

My thoughts exactly ---- is the Buick Nailhead included ? Tyres and wheels are... ?

There is a Park Central Motel in Phoenix, when I was a kid we stayed there a few times.  Does it come with a cooler?

The Buick engine will likely be included, it has been in every issue of the delivery to date.  Round 2's two prior delivery issues did have different optional parts however.  The Gene Winfield large box issue was restored to original (Keystone mags, tubular nerf bar bumpers) while the Three Stooges issue had the flipper caps and ripple bumpers that Ertl put in the coupe and delivery kits in the Nineties.

I do not care what decals or gimmicks they use, I love these old kits. Some I missed out on in earlier releases, so to see them back is great

I think they were Cragar SS in other issues.

The 39/40 Sedan has the Cragars. The 40 Sedan Delivery has only had the Keystone Kustomags or the flipper disks.

Yep, you're right. I was thinking Sedan.

Meh...

But, It sells kits and pays for the refurbishment to tooling like the '64 Olds.

So, it is a good thing in the long run.
