Richard Bartrop Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 (edited) For a mere $2000 , HRE will sell you one of these wheels made of 3D printed titanium. Apparently it weighs a little under 20 pounds. It looks almost too delicate to do the job, but I guess they know what they're doing. Edited May 23, 2019 by Richard Bartrop
Safire6 Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Yeah I wouldn't want to hit a pothole with one of those. Or try to wash them!
CapSat 6 Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 There should be no problems with these - titanium is very strong and light.
iamsuperdan Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 Wow that is cool looking. HRE are a premier builder. If they are selling it, the engineering has been done. THey are not one of those wheels companies that are all look, no substance.

Basically laser welding a pile of titanium dust.
