For a mere $2000 , HRE will sell you one of these wheels made of 3D printed titanium.

Apparently it weighs a little under 20 pounds.  It looks almost too delicate to do the job, but I guess they know what they're doing.

Wow that is cool looking. HRE are a premier builder. If they are selling it, the engineering has been done. THey are not one of those wheels companies that are all look, no substance.

How do you "print" titanium?  I can see machining it, but not squirting it out like with plastic.
