Jeff Stotz Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Here are some photos of not only a recent build, but the first build I have done in the last 45 years. I wanted to give the car the look of a well-used, low-budget gasser of the 60's. I intentionally made the car unrealistically low in the back end just to give it some attitude.
Tom Geiger Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 That's a nice start after 45 years! Very cool model, keep on building! And welcome to the group, you will fit in well here.
Scott8950 Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 very nice, i also built this as one of my first builds getting back into the hobby.
Phildaupho Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Looking forward to your future builds as I really dig this one
gasser59 Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 This is a great kit to jump back into the hobby and you certainly did it justice. Great weathering, looks authentic. Can't wait 'til your next one.
signguy2108 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Apparently, u haven't lost ur touch, everything about looks good. Love the paint and lettering, weathering is perfect. back looks good low, front is a little too high, is there a hole in the floor to see out of? lol great job!
Fish_65 Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Cool build Jeff. Great color choices and the patina looks spot-on.
