Bill J Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Great model of a big piece of automotive history. I remember those big Caddies when they came out and how all of us kids admired them. I have an old friend that does some 1:1 custom work and almost everything he does has 59 Caddy taillights. Classic big car!
72 Charger Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Fantastic work just to let you know that the part of the hood you have made chrome is actually on upside down
Kit Basher Posted May 31, 2019 Author Posted May 31, 2019 Thanks, Jim! Thanks, Bill! 8 minutes ago, 72 Charger said: Fantastic work just to let you know that the part of the hood you have made chrome is actually on upside down Thanks, Dave! You're right. Plus it's not supposed to be chrome. Since it was a separate part, I just ASSumed it was meant to be chrome, and didn't attach it until after the hood was painted. When I went to attach it, I realized my mistake. I wasn't going to repaint the hood, so upside down and chrome it is.
72 Charger Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Still looks ok as for the rest of the car it looks great. I have built 3 of these caddis . I think that they are one of Revells best kits

Dragonhawk1066 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Well done! That had to be a BMF nightmare. The Ecto-1 was enough BMF for me, I can't imagine how much was needed for this one.
Tyler62990 Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 Extremely well done Caddy. I had to pick one of these up today after seeing this one. Definitely one of Revell's better kits in terms of underhood detail, that's for sure.

The BMF wasn't particularly difficult, but there definitely was a lot of it. 9 hours ago, Tyler62990 said: Extremely well done Caddy. I had to pick one of these up today after seeing this one. Rider Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 Really sharp looking Caddi. I like the colour, and great underhood detail.
