Thanks guys. Revisiting the possibility of fabricating disc wheels and fabricated Vent window dividers.

My humble opinion- the discs look great and very period correct.  I'm personally not as enthralled by the vent window idea as I think it breaks up the lines of the body too much. No matter how you slice it, your workmanship is top notch.

I think your humble opinion is correct. No vent window it is.

Debating the following:

1. Sidemount spares + trunk
2. No sidemounts but twin spares in the back instead of the trunk.

More dabbling with the wheels.

Came up with this. They sorta look the part. Now I have to figure something for the top of the hubs.

Chassis is pretty well done other than adding the wheels and some detailing.

I like your wheel solution. The styrene centers could use some cleaning up on the outer edges but otherwise looking really good.

White without a doubt. That adds a layer of ellegence to a large custom bodied sedan like this one.

I agree the white will look the best.

I think white walls work best with a dark wheel. Generally, I think a chrome wheel looks best with blackwalls.

Thanks Charlie. I spent part of the evening modifying the Metal Master Packard backing plates to become the wheel backs of this one.

Please know that I am not being critical.I personally have a terrible problem with things not being centered and square,it's something I would need to check if it was on my work bench.
