gasser59 Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 That's beautiful in every way. I always enjoy your builds Stephen. Nicely done.
gbdolfans Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Beautiful car. I love the paint and the attention to detail. What scale is this? I am guessing 1/16 with the detail. if it is 1/25,that would be incredible.
Codi Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Very nicely done Stephen. That's a gorgeous funny car if ever there was one. cheers, tim
Chris in Berwyn Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 That looks great! Nice build and amazing gloss on the paint - what clear did you use? I thought I knew who Paul Smith was, and here is an article from 10 years ago or so http://www.competitionplus.com/featured-stories/2666-paul-smith-–-standing-the-test-of-time His son John still is in the sport, and his daughter-in-law is Rhonda Hartman-Smith, who drove TF.
Mooneyzs Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Stephen.... Wow my friend, thisnis a gorgeous and awesome build. I love all the details you added. I cant wait to see this beauty in person. Nice job!!
F/CNUT Posted July 25, 2019 Author Posted July 25, 2019 Thanks a lot Guys for all the comments I truly appreciate it. George, You are right it is 1/16 scale Chris Williams, I used some English Acrylic called U-POL. The numbers are UP 2881 Clear and up 2327 for the hardener. There is no thinner required. The mixing ratio is 4 parts clear to 1 part hardener. It drys very fast and hard. Its a dream to rub out and polish. Love it
Jantrix Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Man, that looks terrific. Great detailing and paint. Real great work.
